I used to write software for a living, and for a while a was a songwriter and musician, two activities that gave me ample opportunity to create things. I didn’t realize while I was in the middle of all that how much the actual creating part of that was necessary for me.
Once I stopped doing those things, the need to create stuff never went away. I decided to try exercising my creating muscles on writing fiction.
And because there’s no point in creating something that nobody ever sees, here it is.
